Academic Activities
Our program provides various academic activities that enhance students' knowledge, experience, hard skills, and soft skills in collaboration with our partners. These activities include:
- Research Groups (in Control and Automation, Power Systems and Energy, Telecommunications, and Biomedical Engineering)
- Robotics
- Workshop
- Advanced Technology Seminars
- Joint Research
- And others
IEEE Student Branch
With over 100,000 undergraduate and graduate student memberships worldwide, contributing 25% to IEEE's membership, it is essential for its continued growth and vitality. IEEE is not only the world's largest technical and professional community but also a publisher of a significant amount of literature in electrical engineering and computer science. As one of the IEEE student branches, students will participate in various activities such as workshops, seminars, training sessions, and other IEEE community meetings.
Program Pertukaran Pelajar (Students Exchange)
Take advantage of the opportunity to go abroad and discover new experiences by joining the student exchange program between UII and our partner institutions. The student exchange program provides exchange activities between two universities/institutions to share educational systems and platforms, knowledge, research activities, internships, and other academic activities for the short or long term. Students will learn how to compete and face the challenges of globalization. Some of our previous student exchange activities are:
- Summer Program
- Sakura Exchange Science Program
- Internship and Final Projects
- Joint Research
Research and Student Competitions
Research activities are an integral part of being an electrical engineering student. Not only as a final project, research has become a daily activity for students. It encompasses various fields such as control and automation, electronics and embedded systems, programming, and many other areas. Research activities will help students enhance their skills to a higher level.
Various student competitions have also been participated in by our electrical engineering students, both at the national and international levels. UII Electrical Engineering students actively participate in competitions that involve robotics and student research, aiming to provide ideas and solutions to social problems with relevant products. Some competitions that our students regularly participate in include the National Robot Contest, Student Creativity Week (PKM), and many incidental competitions that align with the research fields of our students in our study program.
