Telecommunication Research

Telecommunication technology is one of the rapidly evolving technologies. The Telecommunications Laboratory supports cutting-edge research that equips students with insights into trends in telecommunications technology in the industrial world. Some research topics include indoor localization, Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET), cognitive radio, and telecommunication technology for disaster mitigation. Additionally, some activities conducted by the laboratory research group include basic Fiber Optic workshops, Internet of Things (IoT) Project Competitions, MATLAB for Telecommunications, Network Simulator (NS) for Beginners, and industrial visits to various places (such as the Radar Maintenance Depot in Solo). The Telecommunications Laboratory research group is a place for students to develop their knowledge in telecommunications further.
