JOHOR BAHRU, MALAYSIA – The International Program (IP) of Electrical Engineering at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing globally competitive graduates. A total of 11 IP Electrical Engineering students from the class of 2024 and 2025, accompanied by two supervising lecturers, Mr. Hendra and Mr. Firman, successfully organized an International Visit program to Malaysia. Diving into the Academic Atmosphere at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

The core agenda began on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The delegation, who stayed at the Scholar Inn, departed for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

At UTM, the students had the opportunity to attend the Capstone Expo and witness the innovations and final projects of local students. Subsequently, the UII delegation visited the Electrophysiology Lab and held an academic meeting (Meeting UII-UTM) to strengthen institutional ties. The series of campus activities concluded with an Industry Day and Award Ceremony.

Exploring High-Tech Industries: Beyonics and MCE

On the following day, Thursday, June 25, 2026, the focus shifted toward industrial exploration. The first destination was Beyonics Precision Malaysia Sdn Bhd. There, students were guided through a factory tour, directly observing the high-precision production lines.

After completing the Beyonics visit in the afternoon, the journey continued to Multi-Code Electronics (MCE) Industries (M) Berhad. Wrapping Up the Trip with a Valuable Experience

After completing the fully-packed and productive schedule in Johor Bahru, the delegation departed back to Indonesia on Friday, June 26, 2026. The return trip included a transit in Kuala Lumpur for shopping, praying, and lunch, before finally catching a flight to Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA).
